Well Family Charity Foundation (“Well Family”) is established in 2013 with a committee comprised of sector professionals, including a chairman of a listed corporation, an accountant and a registered physiotherapist, etc. Well Family is a registered charitable institution in HKSAR since December 2014 (IR File No. 91/13822).
Well Family is committed to promote the well-being of children from low-income families and provide care for the elderly, aiming to “serve the community as a family”. Well Family does not hold a political stance.
Since 2013, Well Family has launched Well Family Love Canteen Programme in Kwun Tong, Wong Tai Sin, To Kwa Wan and Sham Shui Po, from time to time organizing visits to low-income elderly living with spouse only and those living alone. In addition, outings are organized for the elderly to provide them with a chance to make their dreams come true.
Well Family has launched the Well Family Classroom Programme in Tai Po, Tun Mu, Tung Chung, Sham Shui Po, Tsuen Wan and Chai Wan, providing low-priced tutorial lessons, care services for children and extra-curricular activities to low-income students. Well Family also organizes visits to low-income students from time to time, and arranges travels for them to broaden their horizons by guiding them to different places. There are also programmes to realize their wishes of travelling abroad.
We have a “3 No policy” in the events of Well Family Charity Foundation: 1) No politics 2) No religious belief 3) No business should be discussed among volunteers or beneficiaries during any Well Family events.
Use of Donations
The administrative fees of Well Family Charity Fund are well supported by particular benefactors. Donations received from the public will be fully allocated to support the services provided to low-income families and elderly living with spouse only and those living alone, or to designated purposes specified by the donor. No fees will be deducted from the donations.
