The one-day training camp is designed to foster volunteers’ sense of belongings, encourage them to seek self-enhancement and upgrade their quality of volunteer services. The camp includes interactions among participants, games, heavyweight guests delivering lessons on knowledge and skills in servicing the elderly and children with special needs, as well as professional tutors teaching self-understanding courses. Volunteers can thus better understand themselves and get along well with beneficiaries, their families, colleagues and friends. Not only can they improve the quality of volunteer services, but they can also utilize what they learnt in daily lives. The camp can lead them towards the ways to give and gain.
